After 7 years of incredible growth, Discord held an event to bring their employees together for the first time ever in one place in 2024. In partnership with IRL Productions we developed an overall theme and signage for the event, helping integrate the company's quirky but inclusive voice into the space.
I was also honored to be asked to help write the keynote speech for CEO Jason Citron, as well as the two-day show outline with a comedy talk show theme.
The event was so successful we were asked to collaborate on their next event.
I'm a huge fan of Web 3.0, the next generation of the internet spread across millions of personal devices linked by blockchain. As part of a branding exercise and thought experiment, I wrote and designed these billboards for Nodle - a cutting edge company which pays people in cryptocurrency (NODL) simply for walking around contributing to their network map with their cellphone.
Within minutes of posting the comps on Twitter, the founders reached out praising the campaign, which I parlayed into a meeting with co-founder and CEO Micha Benoliel.
I was tapped to write copy and review UX/UI for the new website of Forbright Bank, a full-service bank accelerating the transition to a clean energy economy.
This turned into an expanded assignment to define the bank's communications strategy and overall marketing approach, with responsibilities including:
- Writing the official tone and voice guidelines
- Reviewing social strategy and digital campaign assets
- Advising on PR and investor communications strategy
- Writing and editing financing case studies
- Crafting customer and investor letters and emails
